Simona Quadarella is an italian swimmer specialized in the 800m and 1500m freestyle categories. She won 6 gold medals at the European Championship. Moreover, at an international level, she won several medals, including the gold medal at the World Championships in Gwangju 2019, where she also set the italian record for the 1500m category (15’40’’89). After failing to qualify for the Olympic Games in Rio, Simona took part to the following edition in Tokyo, winning the bronze medal in the 800m competition.
