Being the son of a two-time Olympic champion such as Giuseppe Abbagnale, Vincenzo carries the legacy of a sporting dynasty on his shoulders. However, he proved his worth when he won the coxed pair World Championship alongside Luca Parlato and Enrico D’Aniello in 2013.
It has been an honor for me to carry on the family tradition, bringing the Abbagnale family for the 11th time to the Olympic Games
